We are seeking a specialist PE Teacher, open to all genders, to join a dynamic school environment from September 2026 until Christmas 2026. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching students up to GCSE level, fostering a positive and energetic environment for physical education.
Day-to-day of the role:
Plan, prepare, and deliver lesson plans and instructional materials that facilitate active learning in physical education up to GCSE level.
Develop schemes of work and lessons that are in accordance with established school curriculum.
Organise and participate in physical activities, sports, and games with students.
Assess and record students’ progress and provide grades and feedback.
Maintain discipline in accordance with the rules and disciplinary systems of the school.
Participate in departmental and school meetings, parent meetings, and whole school training events.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience in teaching PE up to GCSE level.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Ability to foster a cooperative and collaborative educational environment.
Enthusiastic, energetic, and dedicated approach to teaching and student development.
