This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and experienced Humanities teacher looking to take the next step in their career, or for an existing middle leader ready for a fresh challenge in a supportive and well-resourced setting.
The Role
Lead and develop the Humanities department (History, Geography, and/or RE)
Drive high standards of teaching and learning across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable)
Inspire, motivate, and support a team of dedicated staff
Contribute to whole-school improvement and strategic planning
Monitor student progress and implement effective intervention strategies
The Ideal Candidate
A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with strong subject knowledge
Proven track record of outstanding classroom practice
Experience in leading or supporting curriculum development
Strong leadership, organisational, and interpersonal skills
Passionate about raising achievement and fostering a love of Humanities
