Accounts & Bursary Assistant

Location: Slightly outside Reading 

Reed is working with a well-established school to find an organised and reliable Accounts & Bursary Assistant. This is a great opportunity to join a supportive finance team in a varied and hands-on role.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Handling day-to-day finance tasks such as bank reconciliations, invoice processing, and payments
  • Managing parent billing and responding to payment queries
  • Maintaining financial records and ledgers
  • Supporting month-end processes and reports
  • Assisting with general admin tasks and supporting staff with finance queries
  • Helping the finance team with other tasks and school activities when required

What we’re looking for:

  • Someone organised, detail-focused, and comfortable with numbers
  • Confident using Excel and IT systems
  • A team player with good communication skills
  • Previous finance or admin experience is desirable

Must have a Driving Licence
