Location: West London /  Salary: £45,000 – £60,000 per annum

We are seeking a forward-thinking individual who embraces technology and innovation and can evolve and develop the school’s admissions and registrar function to meet the organisation’s future needs. This role will lead and manage the full admissions lifecycle, ensuring an outstanding experience for prospective families while maintaining robust, compliant student records and supporting organisational growth.

Admissions

  • Lead the end-to-end admissions process from enquiry through to enrolment
  • Maximise enquiries, visits, applications, and conversion rates
  • Deliver a highly professional and personalised experience for prospective families
  • Manage communications, ensuring timely and engaging responses to enquiries
  • Organise and deliver events (open days, tours, taster sessions, interviews)
  • Collaborate with marketing to promote the organisation and enhance brand presence

Registrar / Data & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate and compliant student records and admissions data
  • Oversee admissions systems (e.g. MIS/CRM) ensuring data integrity
  • Ensure compliance with relevant admissions regulations and policies
  • Produce reports and analysis to support strategic decision-making
  • Manage onboarding processes for new starters

Strategy & Development

  • Develop and implement admissions strategies to meet recruitment targets
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity, making recommendations to leadership
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes through digital transformation and automation
  • Lead continuous improvement of systems, processes, and customer journey

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build strong relationships with prospective families, staff, and external partners
  • Act as a key ambassador for the organisation
  • Work across departments (marketing, finance, academic teams) to ensure seamless processes
  • Provide updates and insights to senior leadership

Essential Experience

  • Experience in admissions, registrar, or student recruitment roles
  • Proven ability to manage customer-facing processes and deliver excellent service
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Experience using databases
  • Experience within education (independent schools, FE, HE, or similar)
  • Experience leading or developing admissions strategy
  • Exposure to marketing or student recruitment campaigns
