Day-to-day of the role:
Monitor and maintain stock levels using our ERP system.
Raise purchase orders to replenish stocks and monitor overdue purchase orders.
Negotiate pricing terms with suppliers and manage purchase rebates.
Seek out new suppliers and build strong, productive relationships.
Support the sales and operations teams by ensuring smooth supply chain management.
Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies.
Regularly meet with supplier representatives to ensure alignment and address any issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years purchasing experience in a commercial and technical environment.
Proficiency in raising orders and negotiating prices with suppliers.
Strong focus on customer service and satisfaction.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a conscientious, reliable approach.
Team player with efficient, diplomatic, and self-motivated characteristics.
