Join our client as an Associate within their dynamic Property Litigation team. This role offers the chance to handle a variety of complex property litigation matters and provides a steady stream of high-quality cases.
Day-to-day of the role:
Handle a range of property litigation cases including property damage, trespass, and nuisance issues.
Resolve disputes commercially through courts or alternative dispute resolution (ADR) techniques.
Meet annual team billing targets while ensuring risk management and high levels of client service excellence.
Supervise and manage at least one junior solicitor or paralegal, ensuring they manage risks appropriately.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Full and detailed understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules with experience from case inception to trial.
Experience in resolving cases via mediation and other forms of ADR.
Strong legal technical ability, preferably within the property litigation area.
Good understanding and experience with procedural matters in litigation, including all aspects of protocols and civil procedure.
High levels of client care with the ability to advise on technically complex matters in a clear and understandable format.
Practical legal experience including county court litigation, injunctive relief, mediation, and all aspects of ADR.
Ability to interact well with colleagues at all levels and supervise more junior team members, taking accountability for their performance and development.
