Real Estate Associate (4+ PQE) - Residential Development

We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Real Estate Associate with 4+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE) to join our team based in Cheltenham. This role provides the chance to engage in high-quality, "City" standard work within the picturesque setting of the Cotswolds. This role is focused on residential property development as a speciality and interested candidates must have a strong competency in this area.
Day-to-day of the role:
Provide legal advice to clients in a succinct, practical, and persuasive manner.
Manage a substantial and varied workload efficiently and cost-effectively, with supervision appropriate to the level of expertise.
Demonstrate good judgement and a solid legal and commercial understanding of clients' needs.
Draft documents with minimal instruction and supervision, making use of appropriate precedents.
Apply a commercial approach to research and evaluate relevance and accuracy in the delivery of advice.
Build strong rapport with clients and identify opportunities to take appropriate steps to follow through.
Attend and assist in organising and hosting client marketing events.
Contribute to group knowledge and know-how initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Must be an England and Wales qualified solicitor with 4+ years’ PQE.
Experience in regeneration development acquisitions and disposals work.
Development experience, particularly for housebuilders, is desirable.
Excellent time management skills and stakeholder management.
Ability to develop effective working relations at all levels with both colleagues and clients.
Confident in both verbal and written communication, including the preparation of reports for a diverse range of clients within the housebuilding sector.
Ability to undertake (and proven experience of) complicated title due diligence.
