Procurement Business Partner

Location: Hybrid Working
Contract: Full-time (Part-time considered – 4 days per week)

Procurement Business Partner required to support the delivery of compliant, effective, and value-for-money procurement activities across a growing organisation. Working closely with stakeholders, you'll provide expert procurement advice, manage tender processes, and help drive continuous improvement in procurement practices and governance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and support procurement activity across the organisation.
  • Lead and coordinate end-to-end tender and sourcing exercises.
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand procurement requirements and provide guidance throughout the process.
  • Ensure all procurement activity complies with relevant UK procurement legislation and internal policies.
  • Develop and improve procurement procedures, templates, guidance, and documentation.
  • Support the delivery of procurement training and awareness across the business.
  • Assist with supplier and contract management activities, including performance reviews and contract variations.
  • Maintain accurate procurement and contract records.
  • Monitor spend, savings, and procurement performance data to identify opportunities for improvement.

About You

  • Previous experience in a procurement role, ideally within a public sector or regulated environment.
  • Experience managing or supporting tender processes.
  • Good understanding of UK public procurement regulations.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Comfortable analysing data and producing procurement reports.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and support colleagues through procurement processes.

Desirable Experience

  • Professional procurement qualification such as CIPS.
  • Experience within housing, local government, healthcare, education, or a similar regulated sector.
  • Supplier and contract management experience.
