Are you an organised and proactive procurement / supply chain professional looking to join a growing international business? We are seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator to play a key role in ensuring the efficient flow of goods, materials, and information across a fast-paced supply chain operation.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in supply chain or procurement who enjoys solving problems, building supplier relationships, and driving continuous improvement.

The Role

You will be responsible for coordinating the movement of materials and products throughout the supply chain, ensuring inventory availability, managing supplier performance, processing orders, and supporting operational excellence initiatives.

You will work closely with suppliers, logistics providers, manufacturers, and internal departments to ensure products are delivered on time, costs are controlled, and customer expectations are consistently exceeded.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to manage lead times, deliveries, and material availability.
  • Resolve supplier-related issues including quality concerns, delivery delays, and invoice discrepancies.
  • Monitor inventory levels to maintain optimum stock availability and prevent shortages or overstocking.
  • Investigate and resolve supply chain disruptions, transportation delays, inventory discrepancies, and supplier performance issues.
  • Analyse supply chain data and performance metrics to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Process customer and supplier orders accurately and efficiently from receipt through to delivery.
  • Produce reports and provide insights to support operational and commercial decision-making.
  • Ensure all supply chain documentation, shipments, transactions, and records are maintained accurately and comply with business requirements.
  • Support cost-reduction initiatives through supplier management, negotiation support, and process optimisation.
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments to ensure supply chain activities align with business objectives.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency, service levels, and overall supply chain performance.
  • Support the implementation and effective use of supply chain technologies and systems.

About You

  • Experience managing supplier relationships and coordinating supply chain activities.
  • Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
  • A good understanding of transportation, import/export, and supply chain compliance requirements.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
  • The ability to make sound decisions under pressure while balancing cost, quality, and service considerations.
  • Experience using ERP, MRP, or Supply Chain Management Systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, or similar), with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reporting.
