Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons aligned with the National Curriculum
Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that supports all learners
Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND
Promote positive behaviour and support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development
Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, carers, and colleagues
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and wider school staff
Ensure safeguarding and health & safety policies are adhered to at all times
Contribute to wider school life, including meetings, planning, and professional development
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching in a primary school setting (Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2)
Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment frameworks
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
A patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic approach to teaching
Ability to motivate and inspire young learners
Strong understanding of safeguarding responsibilities and procedures
