Plumbing Lecturer

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Plumbing Lecturer to join our educational team. This role involves teaching students of varying abilities, from Level 1 to Level 3, and collaborating with the Curriculum Manager to expand and develop the department. Your industry experience will be instrumental in inspiring the next generation of skilled experts.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Teach plumbing courses to students from Level 1 to Level 3.
  • Work closely with the Curriculum Manager to enhance the curriculum and ensure the delivery of high-quality education.
  • Inspire students using your industry experience, supporting their career and life ambitions.
  • Play a key role in promoting plumbing courses, participating in marketing events, and sharing your professional experiences.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and manage administrative tasks efficiently.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in teaching and/or relevant industry experience in plumbing.
  • Minimum of Level 2 literacy and numeracy (GCSE or equivalent).
  • Qualified FE teacher or willingness to work towards this qualification.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and articulate clearly to class groups.
  • Efficient administration skills for effective student record-keeping.
