We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Plumbing Lecturer to join our educational team. This role involves teaching students of varying abilities, from Level 1 to Level 3, and collaborating with the Curriculum Manager to expand and develop the department. Your industry experience will be instrumental in inspiring the next generation of skilled experts.
Day-to-day of the role:
Teach plumbing courses to students from Level 1 to Level 3.
Work closely with the Curriculum Manager to enhance the curriculum and ensure the delivery of high-quality education.
Inspire students using your industry experience, supporting their career and life ambitions.
Play a key role in promoting plumbing courses, participating in marketing events, and sharing your professional experiences.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and manage administrative tasks efficiently.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience in teaching and/or relevant industry experience in plumbing.
Minimum of Level 2 literacy and numeracy (GCSE or equivalent).
Qualified FE teacher or willingness to work towards this qualification.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and articulate clearly to class groups.
Efficient administration skills for effective student record-keeping.
