We are part of a partnership of two exceptional Special Schools supporting children and young people aged 3–19 with severe or profound and multiple learning difficulties. We are looking for an outstanding Personal Assistant to the Executive Headteacher - someone who can bring calm, clarity, and confidence to a role at the heart of our leadership.

What You’ll Be Doing

As the Executive Headteacher’s right hand, you’ll be the first point of contact for enquiries, visitors, and communications. Your work will be varied, purposeful, and central to the smooth running of our operations.

  • Executive support: Manage correspondence, draft responses, prioritise urgent matters, and maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Meeting coordination: Prepare agendas, reports, and presentations; take accurate minutes; distribute documentation.
  • Communications leadership: Oversee websites, lead on social media, produce newsletters, promotional materials, and school videos.
  • Administrative leadership: Line manage and support the development of the administration team.
  • Safeguarding support: Produce safeguarding materials and support safeguarding processes.
  • Project & innovation support: Assist with development initiatives, school promotions, engagement strategies, fundraising platforms, and the school lottery.
  • Community liaison: Act as the link between both PTFAs and the schools.
  • Information governance: Handle FOI requests with accuracy and professionalism.

This role is primarily based in Exeter, with travel to other sites as needed across the week.

This is a permanent role, 37 hours per week, term time (40 weeks). The salary is £26,837.20 pa.

Speech And Language Therapist

Speech and Language Therapist Location: West London Job Type: Full-time, Term-time only Salary Range: Term Time only salary £25k – £33k-(FTE (4 days)£32k – £40k) Join our specialist independent college as a Speech and Language Therapist (SaLT), providing crucial support to students aged 19–25 with moderate, severe, and profound and multiple learning difficulties. This role is based across our two sites, focusing on the Life and Living Pathway at The Triangle in Hounslow and the Engagement for Life and Vocational Pathways at the main college site. Day-to-day of the role: Deliver speech and language therapy as indicated in student Education Healthcare Plans, including individual and group therapy sessions. Support teaching and support staff to embed SaLT programs in lessons in line with the relevant curriculums. Act as a leader and advocate for the college’s ‘Total Communication’ approach, supporting staff and wider stakeholders to realise the importance of communication. Oversee dysphagia lead for the college by leading on dysphagia assessment, programme writing, supporting class team knowledge, and implementing programmes. Organise own time, including clinical supervision, to best meet student needs in collaboration with the Assistant Head and pathway leads. Produce reports for annual reviews and attend reviews when needed. Be an integral part of the assessment process of new students, supporting the assessment process and liaising with the current setting to order the correct equipment to support individual students.
