Payroll Administrator (Temporary – up to 3 months) Location: Stratford-upon-Avon Salary: £24,479 pro rata Contract: Temporary (up to 3 months)
We’re currently seeking an organised and detail-focused Payroll Administrator to join a busy finance team on a short-term basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience within a fast-paced payroll function, supporting the accurate and timely delivery of weekly and monthly payrolls.
Key responsibilities:
Assisting with the processing of weekly and monthly payrolls
Collating and inputting payroll data including new starters, leavers and contractual changes
Setting up new employees on the payroll system, including weekly paid individuals
Processing payroll adjustments such as allowances, deductions and benefits
Supporting Senior Payroll Officers with day-to-day payroll administration tasks
Maintaining accurate records and ensuring payroll data is up to date
Key requirements:
Previous administrative experience, ideally within payroll or finance
Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
A proactive approach and willingness to learn new systems
