Due to continued growth, they are seeking a professional, organised and proactive Paraplanner to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Paraplanner or Financial Services professional looking to further their career within a supportive and collaborative environment.

The Role

Reporting to the Office Manager, you will provide comprehensive paraplanning, research and administrative support to Financial Advisers, ensuring the delivery of a first-class service to clients.

You will play a key role in analysing client information, carrying out technical research, preparing suitability reports and processing new business. Working closely with Advisers and colleagues, you will help ensure client recommendations are supported by robust research and delivered in line with regulatory requirements.

This role would suit a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to their work.

Key Responsibilities

Adviser Support

  • Analyse client data and utilise research tools to identify appropriate solutions that meet client needs and objectives.
  • Conduct whole-of-market research and maintain accurate supporting records of all research undertaken.
  • Interpret information obtained during client meetings and assist in preparing recommendations.
  • Obtain outstanding information and documentation where required.
  • Prepare quotations using available provider and research systems.
  • Draft and construct suitability reports and supporting documentation.
  • Process new business applications accurately and efficiently.
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with compliance procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Attend and participate in monthly staff and consultant meetings.

Skills & Experience

Essential:

  • Previous experience within a Paraplanning, Research or Financial Services support role.
  • Strong analytical and research capabilities.
  • Experience preparing suitability reports and supporting documentation.
  • Working knowledge of financial services products and industry regulations.
  • Progress towards, or attainment of, industry qualifications such as the CII Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning.
