Nursery Teacher – Part-Time Opportunity (2.5 Days per Week) 

Location: Scunthorpe
Start Date: September 2026
Contract Duration: Until October Half Term
Pay: £150 per day

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Scunthorpe on a part-time basis (2.5 days per week). This is a fantastic short-term opportunity for an enthusiastic early year's specialist to make a positive impact during the start of the academic year.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, creative, and age-appropriate lessons in line with the EYFS framework
  • Create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for nursery-aged children
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs
  • Support the early identification of Special Educational Needs (SEN) and work collaboratively with staff to implement appropriate strategies
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Proven experience working within a primary school nursery setting
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the EYFS framework
  • Demonstrated ability in the early identification and support of SEN
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • Passion for early years development and child-centred learning
