A global investment bank is seeking a Syndicated Loans Closer to join their EMEA Loan Trading team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-driven professional with strong experience in the secondary loans market to play a key role in executing high-value transactions. The Role As a Syndicated Loans Closer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end closing and settlement of secondary loan trades, ensuring all transactions are executed accurately, efficiently, and in line with legal and regulatory requirements. You will work closely with internal trading teams, external counterparties, agent banks, and legal teams to ensure seamless execution across a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Trade Execution & Closing Manage the end-to-end closing process for secondary loan trades in a timely manner Review complex finance documentation and prepare/execute all required transfer documentation Liaise with lenders, agent banks, borrowers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth settlement Ensure all transferability conditions and legal requirements are satisfied prior to closing Partner with Loans Operations to ensure all settlement amounts are accurately processed Manage and complete all KYC requirements before trade completion Ongoing Trade & System Management Maintain accurate trade records within Loantrak and Clearpar systems Ensure all loan documentation and audit trails are complete and compliant Monitor and resolve fee payments and non-receipts, escalating where necessary Support amendments and waiver requests, ensuring downstream communication and tracking Risk & Compliance Ensure full adherence to regulatory, compliance, and financial crime requirements Maintain up-to-date knowledge of loan market practices and regulatory frameworks Complete all mandatory training to remain fully compliant and effective in role About You We are looking for a candidate with strong technical expertise and the ability to operate independently in a high-pressure environment. Mandarin language skills are essential due to regular interaction with overseas stakeholders.
