Reed Banking is delighted to be supporting a well-established international banking client with the search for a Credit Analyst to join their London-based Credit team.

This position is based in the client’s modern offices in the heart of the City of London, offering an excellent working environment and the opportunity to play a key role in a high-performing credit function.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Credit, the successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing credit applications, monitoring portfolio risk, and supporting the ongoing development of credit policies and processes.

You will report directly to senior leadership within the credit function and take ownership of evaluating credit proposals, overseeing ongoing portfolio risk, and contributing to the refinement of internal frameworks and policies. The position offers the opportunity to work closely with various teams while playing an integral role in maintaining robust credit standards across the business.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience within corporate banking
  • Strong financial analysis and credit evaluation skills
  • Practical experience across corporate finance products, including:
    • Syndicated lending
    • Project finance
    • Acquisition finance
    • Asset-backed finance (e.g. shipping, aviation)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical ability, with the capability to interpret both quantitative and qualitative data

Syndicated Loan Closer - Investment Bank

A global investment bank is seeking a Syndicated Loans Closer to join their EMEA Loan Trading team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-driven professional with strong experience in the secondary loans market to play a key role in executing high-value transactions. The Role As a Syndicated Loans Closer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end closing and settlement of secondary loan trades, ensuring all transactions are executed accurately, efficiently, and in line with legal and regulatory requirements.
