We are seeking a passionate and driven Maths Lecturer to join our high-performing 16–18 curriculum team. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver engaging, inclusive teaching across a broad ability range—from Entry Level 3 through to GCSE.

About the Role

This is a permanent position with flexibility for full-time or part-time working. The role is described as “variable” due to the breadth of provision across multiple college sites, offering opportunities to work within a dynamic and expanding team.

Maths delivery is supported through Pearson frameworks, and the department has a strong track record of success—most notably winning the National Maths Competition this year, outperforming over 160 colleges.

Requirements

  • A degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
  • Experience teaching in Further Education and/or relevant industry experience.
  • A recognised teaching qualification for the FE sector.
  • Minimum Level 2 literacy and numeracy (GCSE or equivalent).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate learners.
  • Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
