Our client is looking for a Streetworks Permit Coordinator to join their operations team. This is a key administrative position responsible for coordinating streetworks permits and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and industry requirements.
You will act as a central point of contact for all office-based streetworks activities, supporting operational teams and liaising with local authorities and clients to ensure works are delivered efficiently and compliantly.
Key Responsibilities
Act as a focal point for all office-based streetworks activities, providing support and guidance across the business
Prepare and submit permit applications, including start, stop, and registration notices (R1)
Respond to highway authorities and client queries within required timescales to avoid fines and penalties
Manage permit modification requests, duration challenges, and other compliance-related communications
Run and review daily jeopardy and compliance reports (e.g. notices due, registrations due, works in progress)
Investigate and assist in responding to Fixed Penalty Notices (FPNs) and overrun charges
Update internal systems with accurate permit and project information
Liaise with local authorities, clients, and internal teams regarding streetworks activity
Support the wider compliance team with data and reporting requirements
Assist other business areas when required, including covering absences

Desirable:
Knowledge or experience of streetworks legislation (e.g. NRSWA / TMA)
Experience using streetworks systems such as Street Manager or Symology Aurora
Previous experience working within utilities, highways, or infrastructure environments
