Day-to-day of the role:
Support pupils in Reception/KS1 with daily classroom activities.
Deliver small group phonics interventions.
Assist with reading, writing, and basic numeracy.
Help create an engaging and supportive classroom environment.
Support pupils’ confidence and participation in lessons.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience working with primary school-aged children (KS1 preferred).
Strong knowledge of phonics schemes (essential).
Enthusiastic and nurturing approach.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Desirable:
Experience with Read Write Inc or similar phonics schemes.
Relevant TA qualification.
