Location: London Area

Salary: c. £100 - 120k plus package & hybrid working

 

A market-leading UK food manufacturer is seeking an experienced Innovation & Marketing Director to join its senior leadership team.

Reporting to the Managing Director, this role will lead innovation, product development, marketing and brand strategy across both private label and branded portfolios. The successful candidate will drive a commercially focused innovation pipeline, develop compelling brand propositions, and strengthen key retail partnerships.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver the innovation and marketing strategy to support business growth.
• Lead the end-to-end NPD process, from concept through to launch.
• Build a strong pipeline of retailer-led and proactive innovation projects.
• Drive brand development, packaging innovation, and marketing activity.
• Identify emerging trends and translate consumer insight into commercially successful products.
• Partner closely with commercial teams and retail customers to secure growth opportunities.
• Lead and develop innovation and marketing teams, fostering a culture of creativity and accountability.
• Manage budgets and measure the success of product launches and campaigns.

 

About You

• Proven leadership experience within Innovation, NPD, Marketing or Brand in food manufacturing.
• Strong background in confectionery, chocolate, bakery, premium food, or related categories.
• Experience working with major retailers, ideally within private label environments.
• Demonstrable success in delivering commercially viable product innovation.
• Strong brand, packaging and consumer insight capability.
• Commercially astute, with excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
