Reed Finance are recruiting for a Head of Transactional Finance to join a growing, private equity-backed organisation at a key stage of its journey. This role has been created as part of a wider finance team restructure, offering the chance to step into a high-impact leadership position overseeing all transactional finance operations, while partnering closely with senior leadership.
Reporting into the Group Finance Director, you will take ownership of transactional finance, treasury operations, and key financial controls, ensuring robust processes and continuous improvement across the function.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and develop the transactional finance teams, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and treasury support
Oversee end-to-end procure-to-pay and order-to-cash processes
Manage cash flow forecasting and treasury activities, including banking relationships and facilities
Take responsibility for VAT, expenses, and corporate card processes
Act as a key authorised signatory for payment runs and financial controls
Provide technical oversight on balance sheet integrity, supporting the Management Accountants team
Drive process improvements across transactional finance
Ensure strong governance, controls, and timely month-end processes
Essential Experience:
Fully-qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or strong QBE
Proven experience managing large transactional finance teams
Strong background in operational finance and process improvement
Experience working within international or multi-entity organisations
Solid understanding of controls, balance sheets, and cash management
Ideally experience within a private equity-backed business
