An excellent opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and forward-thinking finance professional to step into the Finance Manager role within a well-established organisation. This position is ideal for someone looking to progress their career beyond a traditional finance role, offering exposure to systems improvement, process automation, and strategic financial support. You’ll play a key role in enhancing financial processes, supporting decision-making, and working closely with stakeholders across a multi-site environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
Support and contribute to the development and optimisation of the organisation’s accounting system (Sage Intacct).
Identify opportunities to improve and automate financial processes.
Produce high-quality management accounts, reporting, and financial analysis.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning.
Partner with stakeholders across the organisation to support financial understanding and compliance.
Maintain strong financial controls and support audit processes.
Contribute to continuous improvement of systems, processes, and procedures.
Assist with statutory reporting and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
AAT Level 4 (or working towards).
Experience within a finance role involving reporting, analysis, or business partnering.
Strong understanding of management accounts and financial processes.
Experience using accounting systems (Sage or similar desirable).
Proactive approach with a genuine interest in improving processes.
Desirable: Studying towards ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent.
Experience with budgeting and forecasting.
Exposure to systems improvements or automation.
Experience within a multi-site or complex organisation.
