A primary school is seeking a flexible and experienced KS1 & EYFS Teacher to provide cover across Year 1, Year 2, and EYFS for the Autumn term. This role is ideal for a confident practitioner who can adapt quickly and provide consistency across multiple classes, especially in settings with a high proportion of pupils with additional and high-level needs.
Day-to-day of the role:
Monday: AM in Year 1, PM in EYFS
Tuesday: Full day in Year 2
Deliver engaging lessons across EYFS and Key Stage 1, adapting teaching to meet the needs of pupils with a range of additional needs.
Maintain strong classroom and behaviour management across all year groups.
Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Work collaboratively with support staff and the wider school team.
Ensure continuity of learning across both days.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Experience teaching in EYFS and/or KS1.
Strong understanding of supporting pupils with high-level additional needs (SEND experience essential).
Flexible, adaptable, and confident working across different year groups.
Excellent behaviour management and communication skills.

Experience in SEND or inclusive classroom settings.

Able to quickly build rapport with children and staff.
