Accounts Receivable Administrator (3-Month Temporary Assignment)

Are you looking to kick-start your career in finance and gain hands-on experience within a market-leading organisation? This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join a busy Accounts Receivable team on a 3-month temporary basis.

This role would particularly suit a candidate who has recently completed a HND or Degree in Accountancy & Finance and is keen to take their first step into the industry.

The Role

As an Accounts Receivable Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the finance team and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of operations. You will be the first point of contact for queries and provide essential administrative support across the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for students and third-party sponsors, handling queries for the Accounts Receivable team
  • Co-ordinate and support a range of administrative tasks and processes, responding to routine enquiries via email, telephone, and helpdesk systems
  • Triaging incoming queries, escalating where appropriate to ensure timely and accurate resolution
  • Follow up on outstanding queries, ensuring issues are progressed and completed within agreed timescales
  • Provide day-to-day support to team members to ensure efficient processing and workflow
  • Assist with general administrative duties as required by the team
  • Participate in professional development activities where appropriate

About You

  • HND or Degree educated in Accountancy & Finance (or a related discipline)
  • Strong organisational skills with great attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
