Electrical Maintenance Engineer 

The maintenance engineering function supports the safe and reliable operation of site equipment through a combination of planned maintenance, fault response, and continuous improvement activity.

The team works across a range of production and support areas, maintaining electrical and associated systems to ensure consistent performance and minimal disruption to operations.

What the Team Does

Day-to-day activity is a balance of preventative maintenance and reactive work, responding to issues as they arise while also working to reduce the likelihood of repeat problems.

Typical responsibilities across the team include:

  • Diagnosing and resolving issues across plant and equipment
  • Completing scheduled maintenance to support operational reliability
  • Recording maintenance activity within site systems
  • Supporting planning and prioritisation of workload
  • Managing and sourcing required spare parts and materials
  • Working alongside external specialists when needed

There is also an ongoing focus on identifying improvements to equipment performance and maintenance processes.
