Diversity & Inclusion Manager

📍 Multi-site role (North Wales + South East England)
💰 £50,000 - £55,000 + Car Allowance (£4750) + 24 Days Annual Leave & 8 Bank Holidays
🕒 Full-time, Permanent (40 hours per week)

About the Role

We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Diversity & Inclusion Manager to lead and shape our organisation-wide D&I strategy. This is a fantastic opportunity to drive meaningful cultural change within a complex, multi-site business.

Reporting directly to the Chief People & Corporate Affairs Officer, you will take ownership of developing and embedding inclusive practices across the organisation, ensuring that diversity, equity and inclusion are at the heart of how we operate.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic D&I Leadership

  • Design and deliver a comprehensive diversity, equity and inclusion strategy aligned to wider business objectives
  • Develop and implement policies that support underrepresented groups
  • Act as a key advisor to senior leadership on inclusive culture and organisational change

Recruitment & Talent Development

  • Partner with the People team to embed equitable hiring practices
  • Develop strategies to attract diverse talent across all levels
  • Support retention initiatives that enable career progression and inclusivity

Training & Awareness

  • Lead and deliver training on topics such as unconscious bias, inclusive leadership and cultural awareness
  • Promote understanding of D&I principles across all employee groups

Data & Insight

  • Track and analyse diversity metrics across the workforce
  • Identify trends, gaps and opportunities for improvement
  • Report progress and insights to senior stakeholders, recommending action where needed

Employee Engagement

  • Support and develop Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and inclusive networks
  • Build partnerships with external organisations and community groups
  • Drive engagement initiatives to enhance belonging and inclusion across the workforce

About You

  • Proven experience in a Diversity & Inclusion role or similar
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
  • A data-driven mindset with experience analysing and reporting on people metrics
  • Empathy, resilience and a passion for driving cultural change
  • Ability to work across multiple sites and build relationships in a complex organisation

Head of Engineering
