We’re looking for a CNC Technician to transform 3D models into production-ready CNC files and support future 3D printing workflows. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with our Director and Technical Lead in a dynamic workshop environment, combining digital precision with practical craftsmanship.

What You’ll Do

  • Convert 3D Rhino models into 2D layouts and nest components for CNC cutting and 3D printing.
  • Create build instruction sheets for composite layup processes.
  • Produce and validate DXF/DWG files with correct layers and naming conventions.
  • Generate toolpath-ready files and accurate cut lists.
  • Set up and operate CNC machines, select cutting tools, and monitor operations.
  • Conduct quality checks and resolve technical queries from the shop floor.
  • Collaborate with production teams to optimise workflows and minimise waste.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and quality-focused work environment.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience with Rhino 3D and CNC nesting workflows.
  • Familiarity with Multicam CNC Apex 3R router or similar.
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn composite layup techniques.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, CAM concepts, or ISO 9001 systems (advantageous).
