We are recruiting for a skilled Site Combustion Controls Engineer to maintain and optimise furnace systems across our site (Engineering, Manufacturing/Metals)

   Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose faults and carry out planned maintenance on combustion systems
  • Improve efficiency, reduce emissions, and support sustainability targets
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards
  • Lead furnace installations, upgrades, and retrofit projects
  • Liaise with suppliers/contractors and maintain CMMS records

 About You

  • Experience with combustion systems, burners, and controls
  • Strong understanding of thermodynamics and heat transfer
  • Background in furnace/refractory or combustion maintenance
  • Knowledge of ATEX, PUWER, COMAH
  • Excellent troubleshooting and optimisation skills
