Reed Finance is exclusively recruiting on behalf of our globally recognised client for a newly created, highly strategic and unique finance leadership position. This role will combine a deep corporate finance underpinning with excellent financial analysis skills and broad, C-suite stakeholder level exposure and influence.
Day-to-day of the role:
Lead the Financial Oversight & Licensing Team, ensuring robust financial and regulatory oversight of a large client portfolio.
Manage financially complex, high-risk cases, making high-value decisions and delivering expert recommendations to senior leadership and the board.
Oversee a rigorous financial risk management framework, ensuring effective identification and mitigation of financial, credit and operational risks.
Play a key role in the departmental leadership team, driving annual priorities and developing a high-performing team of specialists.
Drive continuous improvement across all areas of operations, motivating teams and developing talent to deliver high-quality outcomes.
Build strong relationships with senior leaders across a large UK and international stakeholder network, representing the organisation externally and collaborating effectively across internal teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
A proven, senior level background in corporate finance, financial restructuring or senior corporate credit risk management.
ACA/ACCA (or equivalent) would be highly advantageous.
Strategic, forward-thinking leadership style supported by a strong work ethic and collaborative mindset.
Proven ability to lead and develop teams while delivering high-quality outcomes.
Strong analytical and judgement skills to shape high-quality financial, business, and licensing decisions.
Highly skilled in senior-level stakeholder influencing and engagement.
Ability to comprehend and manage complex cases, ask probing questions and deliver effective solutions.
Highly organised with the ability to thrive under pressure.
