Lecturer in Construction and the Built Environment

Salary: £33,429 to £46,618 per annum including London Weighting

We are seeking an enthusiastic Lecturer to join our client's team in the Built Environment department. This role involves teaching a range of programmes from Level 2 to Level 5, including BTEC/Edexcel/Pearson qualifications in Construction and the Built Environment/Civil Engineering, as well as T levels.
Day-to-day of the role:
Deliver engaging and informative lectures and tutorials across various programmes related to Construction and the Built Environment.
Develop and update course materials to ensure compliance with curriculum and industry standards.
Assess student work, provide constructive feedback, and guide students on their academic and career paths.
Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching practices and curriculum development.
Collaborate with industry professionals to enhance the relevance and impact of course content.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Degree in Construction Management and/or Civil Engineering.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the Construction industry.
Some teaching or training experience is preferred.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
