Lecturer in Construction and the Built Environment

  • Location: West London

We are seeking an enthusiastic Lecturer to join our client's team in the Built Environment department. This role involves teaching a range of programmes from Level 2 to Level 5, including BTEC/Edexcel/Pearson qualifications in Construction and the Built Environment/Civil Engineering, as well as T levels.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Deliver engaging and informative lectures and tutorials across various programmes related to Construction and the Built Environment.
  • Develop and update course materials to ensure compliance with curriculum and industry standards.
  • Assess student work, provide constructive feedback, and guide students on their academic and career paths.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching practices and curriculum development.
  • Collaborate with industry professionals to enhance the relevance and impact of course content.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Degree in Construction Management and/or Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the Construction industry.
  • Some teaching or training experience is preferred.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
