Client Services Advisor / Account Manager

Join a leading logistics and fulfilment partner in Basingstoke as a Client Services Advisor. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organised, customer-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will act as the key link between our clients and internal departments, ensuring high levels of service, accuracy, and client satisfaction.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts, managing communication via email, phone, and operational systems.
  • Build strong and professional client relationships, resolving service issues and escalating operational concerns where required.
  • Provide proactive updates to clients regarding orders, production, and fulfilment activity.
  • Coordinate onboarding of new clients from sales handover through to go-live.
  • Configure and maintain accurate client information within operational systems.
  • Raise and manage works orders, fulfilment requests, and operational activities.
  • Work closely with Warehouse, Production, and Transport teams to ensure smooth operational delivery.
  • Monitor stock movements, order progress, and operational timelines, escalating operational risks, delays, or stock concerns promptly.
  • Maintain accurate client records, documentation, and rate cards, supporting billing accuracy and resolution of invoice queries.
  • Maintain operational trackers and client reporting, supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the Service Delivery function.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous experience within Client Services, Customer Service, Account Management, or Operational Support role.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management abilities.
  • High attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and coordination capability.
  • Experience within fulfilment, logistics, warehousing, co-packing, or manufacturing environments is desirable.
  • Experience using operational systems like Mintsoft, Nulogy, or similar is advantageous.
