We are currently recruiting for an experienced and qualified Carpenter to join our Clients Maintenance Team. This role involves a variety of carpentry tasks within Tenants properties,
Day-to-day of the role:
Carry out all forms of carpentry repairs as part of our Maintenance Team.
Perform both 1st fix and 2nd fix carpentry.
Install windows, doors, and door frames, both internal and external.
Conduct UPVC servicing and installation.
Execute locksmithing tasks including lock snapping, drilling, and picking.
Handle various types of fencing installations such as posts, feather edge, chain link, and panels.
Fit kitchens, build kitchen units, and perform minor joinery tasks.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience within a similar role, ideally within the Residential/Housing sector.
Qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 2 in Carpentry or have a minimum of 5 years proven track record in the field.
Strong health and safety mindset with knowledge of best practices.
Full and current driving licence with a minimum of 1 year's driving experience.
Ability to drive and take home a company van.
Must enjoy working as part of a team.
