Business Development Executive

An exciting opportunity to join a leading distributor of business supplies based in the North West. We are seeking a personable, loyal, and dedicated Business Development Executive to drive our company's growth through new business opportunities. This role is ideal for someone who is organised, task-led, high-energy, sociable, eloquent in their approach, driven, and KPI-focused.

 

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Identify and prospect new business opportunities to expand the client base with a high level of energy and commitment to KPIs.
  • Generate leads and manage accounts to ensure continuous growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Deliver excellent service by understanding client needs and collaborating with internal teams to provide tailored solutions.
  • Maintain and strengthen client relationships through regular communication and exceptional service.
  • Utilise CRM tools to track interactions and sales progress efficiently.
  • Work closely with marketing and product teams to align strategies that meet market demands and company goals.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven abilities in New Business Development and Lead Generation.
  • Strong skills in Account Management and maintaining client relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage with a diverse range of clients.
  • Understanding of business practices, focusing on sales and customer service.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently with a results-driven mindset.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in the packaging, logistics, or similar industries is a plus.
