We are seeking a dedicated Bookkeeper to manage our client's day-to-day financial administration and bookkeeping functions. This role is crucial for maintaining financial health and ensuring the smooth operation of our client's financial processes.
Day to day of the role:
Accounts Payable: Process supplier invoices, ensure accurate coding, timely payment, and maintain supplier records.
Bookkeeping and Reconciliation: Maintain the general ledger, record all financial transactions, and perform regular bank and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
Cash Flow Monitoring: Track daily cash movements and report any issues or concerns to management to support financial stability.
Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all financial processes adhere to company policies and accounting standards. Maintain organised and up-to-date financial records, including VAT-related documentation and support for tax compliance requirements.
Ad Hoc Financial Tasks: Support other finance-related administrative tasks and respond to internal or external financial queries as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
Proficiency in using Xero accounting software.
Excellent communication skills.
Highly organised with a strong attention to detail.
Strong work ethic, adaptable and flexible.
