We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Audio Visual Technician to join a busy local authority team based in Wembley. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on AV professional who enjoys a varied role and delivering high-quality technical support in a client-facing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Set up, operate, and maintain audio-visual equipment across a range of venues and events
Support sound, video, lighting, and networking requirements
Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently
Provide on-site support for meetings, conferences, and events
Ensure all equipment is maintained to a high standard
Work flexibly, including occasional out-of-hours work as required
Adhere to health and safety regulations, including working at heights and manual handling
About You
The ideal candidate will:
Have a genuine passion for audio-visual technologies
Demonstrate a positive, flexible “can-do” attitude
Be a strong problem solver with attention to detail
Have experience in at least one core AV area:
Sound
Video
Lighting
Networking
Ideally have experience within an in-house venue or AV supplier environment
Be confident working in a client-facing role
Be physically capable of heavy lifting and working at heights
