This course covers essential topics to kick-start your career in business and finance. Provides a grounding in all the accounting basics and is ideal if you want a pathway into the CIMA Professional Qualification. Duration – 1 year.
This prestigious Level 7 qualification is equivalent to a Master’s degree. The CGMA consists of three levels and you will also need three years of professional experience to complete your qualification. The CIMA qualification is recognised globally and equips you with the skills necessary to thrive in both domestic and international business environments. Duration: 3 years

CGMA is the qualification awarded to CIMA members who complete the qualification and gain relevant experience, signifying advanced management accounting expertise.
No, a CIMA qualification is a professional accounting qualification which concentrates on financial management, accounting and business strategy. A CGMA qualification is considered equivalent to a Master’s degree in accounting. An MBA is a broader academic degree covering a range of business management topics.
There are 12 exams for the full CIMA Professional Qualification, consisting of 9 objective tests and 3 case study exams, split across the Operational, Management, and Strategic Levels. Please see these individual pages for more information.
The CIMA qualification typically takes around three to four years to complete, depending on prior qualifications and study pace. The process includes passing 12 exams across three levels (Operational, Management, and Strategic), and completing the CIMA Professional Qualification. The timeline can be shorter with exemptions or full-time study. To earn the CGMA Professional Qualification, you’ll need to complete all three levels and have three years of relevant practical experience.
