The Senior People Professional Level 7 apprenticeship is an advanced apprenticeship, designed to take approximately 33-36 months to complete.

This includes four months dedicated to End Point Assessment (EPA) preparation. The programme offers a comprehensive blend of learning and practical experience, ensuring you are fully prepared to succeed in senior HR and L&D roles.

To be eligible for the HR Level 7 Senior People Professional Apprenticeship, you must have a Level 5 qualification in HR or a related subject, along with work experience at a managerial level in HR or people management roles.

Additionally, apprentices without English or Maths at Level 2 will need to achieve these qualifications before taking the End Point Assessment. This ensures you have the foundational skills required for success in the apprenticeship and your future career as a Senior People Professional.

Throughout the HR Level 7 Senior People Professional Apprenticeship, your 20% off-the-job training will be assessed based on the Skills, Knowledge, and Behaviours (SKBs) you develop.

You’ll be required to compile a portfolio of evidence, including 15 discrete pieces of work that directly relate to these KSBs.

In addition to the ongoing assessments, you’ll participate in quarterly progress reviews to ensure you’re on track and receiving the support you need to succeed.

At the conclusion of the programme, once all on-programme requirements are met, you’ll undertake an End Point Assessment (EPA). This assessment evaluates your overall development and mastery of the Skills, Knowledge, and Behaviours through a comprehensive review of your portfolio and performance.
