Overview

Temp Warehouse & Stores Operative is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient handling of all warehouse operations, including order fulfilment, stock handling, quality control, and goods-in/goods-out processes. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong IT capability, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

The successful candidate will ensure all warehouse activities are completed accurately, safely, and to a high standard of quality, while maintaining an organised and compliant working environment.

Key Responsibilities

Order & Stock Management

  • Process customer and internal orders via the ERP system.
  • Receive deliveries from suppliers and verify incoming stock.
  • Pick, pack, assemble, and dispatch orders with accurate documentation.
  • Process and prepare medical kit requests.
  • Inspect incoming kits for accuracy and quality.
  • Maintain accurate stock inventory and ensure records are up to date.

Quality Control & Compliance

  • Inspect incoming medical devices and components
  • Maintain quality control data, inspection logs, and batch documentation.
  • Carry out routine warehouse and production audits in line with SOPs and GMP.

Operational & Cross‑Functional Support

  • Provide excellent customer service and resolve queries professionally.
  • Liaise with sales representatives regarding usage for surgical cases.
  • Assist sales staff with product queries and support new operational rollouts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments (Customer Service, QA/RA, Sales, Finance, etc.).
  • Monitor and manage personal email inbox.
  • Work flexibly across multiple operational areas when needed.

  • Maintain a tidy, organised, and safe warehouse environment.
