The Opportunity

Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Factory Trainer to join a dynamic and supportive Training Department. This role is pivotal in shaping the skills, knowledge, and performance of colleagues across the business.

You’ll play a key role in delivering engaging training, championing best practice, and driving continuous improvement across quality, safety, and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with Quality and Health & Safety standards, delivering training to all colleagues
  • Design and deliver engaging, effective, and technically sound training programmes
  • Champion a strong learning culture through professionalism, energy, and expertise
  • Review and enhance existing training materials to create a more interactive and impactful experience
  • Evaluate current training practices and develop more efficient and effective approaches
  • Support the development of new training programmes aligned to business needs
  • Deliver company inductions in partnership with HR, ensuring consistency across departments
  • Identify training gaps across operational and soft skills
  • Support the ongoing achievement of best practice standards
  • Train colleagues on work instructions and raise awareness of risk and safety procedures
  • Maintain accurate training records and documentation

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

  • Experience within a manufacturing or production environment, particularly high-risk settings

Desirable:

  • Health & Safety or compliance-related qualification
  • Train the Trainer or similar training qualification
  • Previous experience in a training role
