My client is searching for a Senior Technologist to take ownership of specifications, champion food safety, and guide products from concept to launch.

Southall | Monday–Friday | Office-based | £37,000 - £42,000 DOE

The Opportunity
This is more than a technical role - you’ll be at the heart of product development, compliance, and innovation, ensuring every product meets the highest standards.

What You’ll Own

- Lead product launches and manage the full specification lifecycle
- Act as a Food Safety Champion, ensuring products are safe, legal, and high quality
- Keep specs, labels, and systems accurate and compliant
- Collaborate with suppliers, customers, and internal teams
- Drive continuous improvement and mentor junior team members
- Stay ahead of food legislation and regulatory changes

What You Bring

- Degree in Food Science / Technology (or similar)
- 5+ years’ experience in specifications within food manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of labelling, allergens, nutrition & compliance
- Excellent organisation, communication, and data accuracy skills
- Experience with spec systems and retailer standards is a plus
