Support Officer

  • Contract: Temporary Part Time (12 weeks)
  • Location: Welwyn Garden City
  • Office-based: 3 fixed days a week - (Fri, Mon, Tues)
  • Hours:  22hrs
  • Salary: £16.58 per hour

My client is actively seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Support Officer to join their small but friendly team. This customer-facing role involves overseeing the management of garages, ensuring they are well-maintained and efficiently let. The position requires strong administrative skills and a background in tenancy agreements, housing or estate management.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Conduct site inspections of garages at the end of tenancies to ensure they are clean and in proper condition.
  • Review recent applications and maintain the database.
  • Offer garages to customers and manage appointments for sign-ups and discussions regarding end of tenancies.
  • Set up tenancy agreements and direct debit for payments.
  • Monitor the inbox, answer emails, and escalate issues where necessary.
  • Meet with customers in person to ensure excellent service delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in tenancy agreement management and sales.
  • Background in housing, estate management, or related fields is preferred.
  • Strong customer service and administrative skills.
  • Proficient in using CRM systems and basic Excel for data entry.
  • Ability to identify damages or areas of concern during inspections.
  • Must have business insurance on car as travel to different sites is required.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to learn quickly.
  • An understanding of complaints management.
