Specialist Inclusion Practitioner- Northampton


Full-time | 37 hours per week | £28,192 – £30,879 per annum
Reed Further Education are working with a college to recruit a Specialist Inclusion Practitioner to support learners with additional needs across a range of programmes.


This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young people with SEND and making a real impact on learner success and progression.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to learners with EHCPs and additional needs
  • Develop and implement individual learning support plans
  • Monitor learner progress, attendance and retention
  • Lead EHCP reviews and maintain accurate records
  • Support teaching staff to adapt learning resources
  • Work closely with curriculum teams, parents and external agencies
  • Promote inclusion, independence and positive behaviour

Requirements:

  • Minimum Level 3 qualification
  • GCSE Maths and English (Grade C/4 or above)
  • Level 2 Learning Support qualification (or equivalent)
  • Experience supporting learners with SEN/SEND needs
  • Knowledge of EHCP processes
  • Strong communication and organisation skills
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
