Day-to-day of the role:
Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils, focusing on individual learning and development needs.
Help implement Educational Health and Care Plan (EHCP) targets effectively.
Support pupils with emotional regulation and social skills, fostering a supportive and understanding environment.
Work closely with the class teacher and Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo) to ensure consistent support and progress in pupils' educational journeys.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience working with children with SEN, whether in a school or care setting.
A patient, adaptable, and nurturing approach to dealing with children.
Good communication skills, capable of working collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals.
