About the Role

An established, independent financial planning firm is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Paraplanner to join its growing technical team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically strong paraplanner who wants to play a more influential role — whether that’s mentoring junior team members, shaping processes, or progressing towards an advisory position in the future.

You’ll be working with high-quality clients on a holistic planning basis, supporting advisers with complex cases across pensions, investments and protection.

Key Responsibilities

  • Writing high-quality suitability reports and financial planning documentation
  • Producing and maintaining detailed cashflow models
  • Supporting advisers with technical research and case preparation
  • Providing responses to complex client and adviser queries
  • Assisting with ongoing portfolio reviews and planning strategies
  • Supporting and mentoring junior paraplanners and team members
  • Contributing to improvements in templates, processes and technical standards
  • Keeping up to date with industry and regulatory changes

About You

  • Minimum 3 years’ paraplanning experience within a financial planning firm
  • Level 4 Diploma qualified
  • Strong technical knowledge
  • Experience writing detailed, client-facing reports
  • Confident using Excel and financial planning tools
  • A proactive and collaborative approach
