Overview
We’re supporting a leading international professional services organisation in their search for a Senior HR Advisor to join their high-performing HR team on a 12-month FTC.
Operating across multiple UK offices, the HR function covers Business Partnering, L&D, Reward, Resourcing and HR Operations. This role sits within the HR Business Partnering team, offering a varied mix of operational and strategic HR activity within a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
The Role
Based in Leeds or Manchester (with occasional UK travel), you will partner with key business areas, building strong relationships and supporting managers across the full employee lifecycle. You’ll also contribute to HR projects and initiatives aligned to business growth and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Relations
Advise managers on ER matters including absence, disciplinaries and grievances
Provide guidance on policies, procedures and best practice
Manage family leave and flexible working requests
Liaise with occupational health and maintain accurate case records
Resourcing & Talent
Support workforce planning and recruitment activity
Partner with managers on hiring approvals and attraction strategies
Assist with early careers programmes
Manage onboarding and exit processes, including MI analysis
Performance & Reward
Support performance review cycles and documentation
Assist with salary review processes
Provide guidance on performance management
Projects & Reporting
Produce HR MI and identify trends
Support engagement and inclusion initiatives
Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement activity
About You
Proven generalist HR experience at Advisor/Senior Advisor level
Strong business partnering and stakeholder management skills
Confident managing ER cases independently
CIPD qualified or working towards (desirable)
Experience in professional services or a fast-paced environment (advantageous)
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Strong IT skills, including Excel
