Sheffield City Council are seeking a dedicated Senior Business Support Officer to provide crucial high-level administrative support to an Assistant Service Manager, focusing on recording responsibilities.
Day-to-day of the role:
Manage and organise emails and calendar appointments.
Arrange and plan meetings, including room bookings and travel arrangements.
Process records of meetings and handle the transcription of these sessions.
Collect and process performance data.
Assist with IT requests, processing new starters, and handling leavers.
Provide customer service support to both internal and external customers.
Ensure efficient and effective business processes and document production.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience in a similar administrative role.
Proficient in using IT systems such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills.
Ability to work under pressure, handle confidential information with discretion, and meet deadlines.
Experience in a busy office environment with a strong understanding of office processes and procedures.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
