Day-to-day of the role:
Manage a portfolio of SME and owner-managed business clients, ensuring all financial reports and tax compliance are handled efficiently.
Oversee accounts, corporation tax, personal tax, and VAT compliance.
Utilise Xero and Iris for bookkeeping and financial reporting.
Provide advisory services and manage client relationships to ensure high levels of satisfaction and engagement.
Support the Directors in strategic practice growth initiatives.
Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a UK practice environment.
ACA or ACCA part qualified or finalist/QBE (Qualified is a bonus!)
Proficient in Xero, Iris, and knowledgeable across various tax disciplines.
Professional, proactive, and client-focused approach.
Ability to start immediately or at short notice is highly advantageous.
