Join our innovative team as a Process Development Scientist, where you will play a crucial role in performing process development experiments to optimize manufacturing processes for solid dose delivery of vaccines and medicines. This position reports directly to the Head of Process Development and is pivotal in contributing to our mission of advancing healthcare solutions.
Day-to-day of the role:
Carry out laboratory-based experimentation to establish a robust, efficient, and scalable manufacturing process.
Plan, execute, record, and report on scientific work accurately and efficiently.
Perform analysis and interpretation of data, generating protocols, technical, and status reports.
Support batch manufacturing activities in the laboratory for assigned internal and external projects.
Coordinate activities with other team members both within and outside the immediate group.
Proactively share experimental and scientific findings with colleagues.
Work within a quality system to maintain traceable documentation.
Adhere to company health and safety rules and promote safe practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
BSc/BEng degree in relevant material science, pharmaceutical engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years’ lab-based experience in an R&D environment.
Essential - Relevant experience in the formulation and process development of solid dosage forms.
GMP experience is desirable.
Experience in manufacturing processes such as powder blending and tableting is highly desirable.
