Location: Central Glasgow (Hybrid working available)
Salary: £27,000–£30,000 (DOE)
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (Monday–Friday) also occasional Saturdays

The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a sales-driven travel professional to design bespoke holiday experiences that go beyond the ordinary.

As a Travel Sales Advisor, you’ll take ownership of customer enquiries, turning inspiration into expertly crafted itineraries. From accommodation and transport to unique local experiences, you’ll create seamless journeys tailored to each client.

This role is ideal for someone with a passion for UK & Ireland travel, a flair for sales, and a desire to showcase destinations off the beaten track. Hybrid working is available for experienced candidates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to new enquiries and convert them into high-quality, tailor-made holiday bookings
  • Create detailed, personalised itineraries including accommodation, transport, activities, and experiences
  • Deliver exceptional customer service through professional, friendly communication
  • Build strong relationships with trusted local partners and suppliers
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
  • Participate in a 24/7 duty rota (once trained) to support customers during travel

About You

You bring a combination of sales ability, destination knowledge, and passion for travel:

  • Minimum 2 years’ travel sales experience with a strong customer service focus
  • Excellent knowledge of Scotland, with additional understanding of England, Wales, and Ireland preferred
  • Confident communicator with outstanding written and numerical accuracy
  • Proactive, positive attitude with a willingness to learn quickly
  • Strong IT skills and attention to detail
  • Genuine passion for UK & Ireland tourism, with the belief that local travel can rival global destinations
  • A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
